Healthy Eating Award
Berry’s Coffee House, High Street, Church Stretton is the very worthy recipient of the Council’s very first Healthy Eating Award.
This award is a brand-new scheme launched by all of the Environmental Departments across Shropshire, with the aim of encouraging caterers to offer healthy options on their menus – eating out is an increasingly important part of peoples lives.
To be eligible, a
catering outlet must: provide and promote healthy food choices; have good
standards of food hygiene and train their staff specifically, in food hygiene.
